Ingredients
- 6 Potatoes
- Salt
- 30 g Butter
- 200 ml Sweet cream
- Salt
- Nutmeg from the mill
- Herbs to taste
Instructions
- Peel and wash the potatoes, cut in half, quarter and cook in salted water.
- Pour off the water (I often collect it for further processing), add the flaked butter and slowly add the cream, in sips, and crush the potatoes with a pounder - DO NOT use a mixer !!!!
- If necessary, add a little salt and add the nutmeg from the mill, mash everything well.
- I like to add herbs, depending on what I feel like and it goes well with the other side dishes .....
- Suggested side dishes: Coarse sausages and a salt.
- 6th note: if you get too fat with the cream, just take milk 😉
