Ingredients

  • 6 Potatoes
  • Salt
  • 30 g Butter
  • 200 ml Sweet cream
  • Salt
  • Nutmeg from the mill
  • Herbs to taste

Instructions

  • Peel and wash the potatoes, cut in half, quarter and cook in salted water.
  • Pour off the water (I often collect it for further processing), add the flaked butter and slowly add the cream, in sips, and crush the potatoes with a pounder - DO NOT use a mixer !!!!
  • If necessary, add a little salt and add the nutmeg from the mill, mash everything well.
  • I like to add herbs, depending on what I feel like and it goes well with the other side dishes .....
  • Suggested side dishes: Coarse sausages and a salt.
  • 6th note: if you get too fat with the cream, just take milk 😉
