Silesian oatmeal cookies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g margarine
  • 150 g sugar
  • 5 tbsp cocoa powder (not instant)
  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 300 g oat flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

without baking

Melt the margarine over low heat. Stir in the sugar and wait until it dissolves completely (also over low heat). Then add the milk and stir in the cocoa powder. Wait a while until everything is simmering, stirring constantly. Finally, mix in the oats. Once everything is well mixed, use two spoons to make small heaps onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Let the whole thing cool overnight. It will be a bit sticky – even when eating – but it’s delicious. Tip: If the mixture has become a bit too runny (depending on how much milk and margarine you heated in the pan), simply add more oats.
