Simple Beef Stew with Shot
The perfect simple beef stew with shot recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 400 g Beef goulash
- 400 g Carrots
- 2 Onions
- 1 teaspoon Tomato paste
- 2 Bay leaves
- 3 Stems Fresh thyme
- 1 pinch Sugar
- Red wine
- 1 Beef stock cubes
- 1 kl. Chilli fresh
- 1 shot Port wine
- Oil and butter
- Salt and pepper
- Flour
- Fry the meat with oil and butter until it is light brown all over and season with salt and pepper.
- Add onions, carrots and tomato paste and fry briefly. Then deglaze with wine (amount to taste) and let it boil down. Add the laurel, thyme and a little water.
- Bring everything to the boil once and then simmer over a medium heat for 1.5 hours. In between, add the remaining ingredients and at the end I thickened it with something (flour and water).
