Homemade Apple Tea with Cinnamon and Spices

The perfect homemade apple tea with cinnamon and spices recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Dried apple peel
  • 6 Pc. Dried lavender flowers
  • 8 Pc. Cloves
  • 2 Pc. Cinnamon sticks
  • 5 Pc. Cardamom pods
  1. I peeled the apples with the peeler so that as little pulp as possible remains on them. I simply placed the bowls in the blazing sun on a baking sheet for a few hours until they were dry. Alternatively, you can leave them to dry in the oven for a few hours on a low heat. But leave a gap open so that the moisture can escape.
  2. I also dried the lavender flowers beforehand. Roughly chop everything in a good food processor and pour into a storage jar. The quantities given are only estimated, as I just mixed everything together. But found the result so good when I tried it that I wanted to hold on to it.
  3. You can still vary the ingredients a little: Next time I add a few more peppercorns and / or a vanilla pod.
