Simple cinnamon balls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter
  • 70 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 60 g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Makes about 25 balls. Mix cinnamon, flour, butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt into a smooth dough. Wrap in foil and let rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Scoop out walnut-sized pieces of dough, shape them into balls, and roll them in the cinnamon mixture. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes. Keep some space between them.
