Simple corn salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 4 cans of corn
  • 2 cups of crème fraîche or sour cream
  • 2 small onions or 1 large onion
  • salt and pepper
  • garlic powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

First, tip the corn into a sieve to drain a little. Then, transfer the corn to a bowl large enough for the amount. The remaining liquid from the corn can collect at the bottom of the bowl, which will give the salad an even creamier flavor. To finish the sauce, you’ll need another, smaller bowl. First, add the sour cream or crème fraîche to the bowl. Peel the onion and chop it into small, fine cubes. Add the chopped onions to the crème fraîche or sour cream and season to taste. Keep the salad refrigerated overnight until ready to eat so that everything can marinate properly. Stir again before serving.
