Simple Pide recipe with meatloaf and egg

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry from the refrigerated section
  • 300 g minced meat
  • 2 Pepper
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 3 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • Pul Biber (leaf peppers)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 egg yolk to brush the pastry
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

For the filling, finely chop the onion, garlic, and chili peppers and fry in olive oil. Add the minced meat and fry until no liquid remains. Season with salt, pepper, and Pul Biber (a kind of turmeric) and turn off the heat. Roll out the puff pastry into a circle and place it in a greased baking dish. The sides should be raised. Spread the minced meat mixture in the center and make three indentations. Fold the sides of the puff pastry inward, brush with egg yolk, and decorate with the peppers and tomatoes. Crack the eggs into the indentations. Bake at 180°C for 20-30 minutes.
