- 6 eggs, separated
- 200 g sugar
- 200 g flour, smooth
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- Salt

Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until semi-stiff. Beat in the sugar and vanilla sugar, gradually add the egg yolks, and beat until frothy. Fold in the flour and spread the dough onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C on the middle rack for 15 minutes until golden brown. Turn out onto a baking sheet sprinkled with granulated sugar, fill with desired filling, and roll up. As a variation, you can replace 100g of the flour with nuts or ground pumpkin seeds.
