Single rice with snake cucumber and tuna

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 185 g tuna (tuna pieces with vegetables in dressing) from the can
  • ½ snake cucumber(s), approx. 200 g
  • 1 bag of rice, 125 g

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cook the rice in water according to the package instructions. In the meantime, halve the cucumbers crosswise, cut each piece lengthwise, and dice each piece. After about 15 minutes, remove the rice from the heat, drain the water, and “slap” the rice bags against the sink wall on the left and right sides to properly drain the water. It will then become quite sticky. Place the rice in a pot, mix well with the cucumbers and tuna, and serve on a plate. The dish costs a total of €2 (2018). A very tasty and healthy meal for singles and people on a tight budget.
