Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g spaetzle or other noodles
- salt water
- 400 g pork loin(s), sliced
- 4 tomatoes (vine tomatoes), finely chopped
- 1 medium-sized onion(s), finely chopped
- 200 g cheese (Gouda), grated
- 100 ml vegetable stock
- 100 ml cream
- salt and pepper
- possibly chili powder
- some oil for frying
- Fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Pre-cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Brown the sirloin slices in a little oil, remove from the pan, and keep warm. Sauté the onions and tomatoes, then deglaze with vegetable stock and cream. Season with salt and pepper, and a dash of chili powder if desired. Spread the pasta in a greased baking dish and then arrange the sirloin slices on top. Pour the sauce over the sirloin slices and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes.
