Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 300 g broccoli
- 200 ml vegetable stock
- 250 g mushrooms, quartered
- 3 pork schnitzels
- 100 g cream
- 50g Gorgonzola
- Fat or oil for frying
- salt and pepper
- Sauce thickener
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Divide the broccoli into florets and cook in salted water until al dente. Cut the schnitzel into strips. Brown the meat and mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, and remove. For the sauce, deglaze with cream and vegetable stock, bring to a boil, and reduce for about 5 minutes. Dice the cheese and melt half of it in the sauce. Thicken with a little roux. Add the meat and broccoli to the sauce and let it simmer for a while. Transfer everything to an ovenproof dish, sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top, and bake in the oven at 225°C for about 5 minutes. We serve this dish with tagliatelle, but it works with rice too.
