Sliced ​​meat with sherry cream sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 pork schnitzels, alternatively 1 kg roast schnitzel
  • 2 onions
  • 250 g mushrooms, fresh
  • 2 cups of sweet cream
  • 1 shot of sherry
  • Fondor
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut the meat into thin strips. Then fry in a little heated oil or margarine. Meanwhile, peel the onions and trim the mushrooms. Chop both finely, add to the meat and fry. Pour on sweet cream (or 3 cups if needed, depending on how much sauce you want) and a good splash of sherry. Cover and simmer for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then simmer uncovered for about 10 minutes and check that the meat is cooked. Finally, season with Fondor, salt and pepper. Add sherry if desired. Serve immediately. Serve with croquettes or baguette.
