Slightly spicy carrot soup

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g carrot(s)
  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • 1 clementine(s)
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • some butter
  • 300 ml water
  • 1 tsp, heaped vegetable stock

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Peel the carrots and slice coarsely. Cut the chili pepper into small rings, and peel and slice the clementine. Place a little butter in a saucepan and sauté the carrots, chili, and orange. Add the vegetable stock and water and simmer for 20 minutes. Then puree everything finely. Return the soup to the heat briefly, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and a squeeze of lemon, and serve. If the soup is too thick, thin with water and vegetable stock if necessary.
