Smoked meat linguine with peas

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 120 g smoked meat, ready to eat, cut into fine strips
  • 200g linguine
  • 70 g peas, frozen
  • 40 g onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 50 ml cream
  • 40 ml milk or water
  • 20 g Parmesan, grated
  • Nutmeg, grated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Sauté the onion in hot oil until translucent. Add the smoked meat and peas and fry briefly, then reduce the heat to low. Cook the linguine according to the package instructions, drain, and add to the pan with the smoked meat. Combine the cream, milk, egg yolk, and cheese and stir into the pasta pan over low heat. Season with nutmeg, pepper, and salt and serve on warmed plates.
