Smoked pork from the Roman pot with honey BBQ marinade

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g smoked pork
  • 3 tsp heaped ketchup (e.g. Heinz BBQ Ketchup)
  • 1 tsp, heaped mustard, sweet
  • 1 tsp, heaped honey
  • some rosemary
  • some steak pepper (I use the one from Wiberg)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Mix together ketchup, mustard, honey, rosemary, and steak pepper, rub it well into the meat, and marinate for a few hours. Then place it in a watered Roman pot. The cooking time depends on the Roman pot and the cooking method. In winter, I simply cook it on the fireplace for a few hours until the internal temperature reaches 54°C.
