Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 8 slices of frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 slice(s) Kasseler , smaller slices
  • 1 large can of sauerkraut
  • 1 can pineapple slices
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

delicious for autumn and winter

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 180°C. Roll out the puff pastry until roughly doubled in size. Place a slice of smoked pork in the center, spread some sauerkraut on top, and finally place a pineapple slice on top. Fold the puff pastry over the top and shape it into small parcels. Brush with beaten egg and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.
