Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika powder
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 2 dashes of Tabasco
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 14 minutes

Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy on both sides. Remove and let cool on kitchen paper. Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine the sour cream and mayonnaise. Stir in the barbecue sauce, ketchup, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce. Finely chop the garlic clove and add it to the sauce along with the paprika. Finely crumble the bacon and stir it into the sauce. Season to taste with salt, Tabasco, and lemon juice. This sauce pairs wonderfully with classic beef burgers, but also with versions made with chicken or halloumi.
