Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 75 g margarine
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • some salt
  • 3 drops of lemon flavor (baking oil)
  • 200 g flour
  • 2 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 100 g apricot jam
  • 300 g red currants
  • 100 g flour
  • 30 g cocoa
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 50 g oat flakes or hazelnuts
  • 100 g margarine

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Chocolate crumb cake with red currants

For the dough: Beat the margarine until creamy. Add the egg and mix in. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, and cooking oil. Gradually beat in the flour and baking powder, adding 2-4 tablespoons of milk, depending on the desired consistency. Pour the dough into a greased springform pan. For the filling: Spread the dough with the apricot jam and spread the red currants evenly on top. For the crumble: Mix together the flour, cocoa, sugar, vanilla sugar, and oat flakes. Add the margarine and beat until the mixture has a nice crumble consistency. Spread the crumble on the cake. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 170°C (fan oven) and bake the cake for about 40 minutes.
