Knead the ingredients into a dough. Refrigerate briefly. Then shape into small balls and flatten slightly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the snowflakes in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat) for about 15-20 minutes. Be careful not to let them get too brown. Roll the still-warm snowflakes in powdered or regular sugar. Note from the Chefkoch.de recipe editor: Several comments mention that the dough is too crumbly with the specified amounts of ingredients and cannot be formed into balls. It’s better to use more butter. The comments recommend using approximately 50-100 g.
