Spread the love

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 5 schnitzels
  • 200 g flour
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • Paprika powder
  • Garlic granules
  • 5 eggs
  • 150 g breadcrumbs
  • 150 g clarified butter for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Heat the clarified butter in a pan. Flatten the schnitzels. Mix the flour with black pepper, salt, paprika, and garlic granules. Coat the meat in the flour. Beat the eggs. Dip the schnitzels in the flour and finally coat them in breadcrumbs. Lightly fry the schnitzels on both sides in the pan, then cover and keep them warm on low heat for 10-15 minutes. This will ensure the schnitzels retain their light coating. Note: You don’t need to toss the schnitzels in the pan to create a sauté like the best chefs do!
