Soup garnish – semolina dumplings

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g butter
  • 2 large eggs, whisked
  • 200 g wheat semolina
  • n. B. Salt
  • n. B. Water, salted
  • 1 ½ liters of soup (beef soup – Meidling style)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Beat the butter and eggs until fluffy, then slowly stir in the semolina and salt. Using a teaspoon, form dumplings and place them on a wet cutting board. Add them all to the boiling soup at the same time. Simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
