Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g soybeans, dried
  • 1 ½ liters of water
  • 1 tbsp vegetable broth
  • 2 onions
  • 3 carnations
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 stalk of savory
  • Thyme
  • marjoram
  • rosemary
  • 200 g potatoes, in pieces
  • 2 carrots, in pieces
  • 1 piece(s) celery, in pieces
  • 1 stalk(s) leek, in pieces
  • 1 root(s) parsley, in pieces
  • Garlic, crushed, to taste
  • herbal salt
  • 250 ml cream
  • 1 pinch of parsley
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 20 minutes

Soak the soybeans in the water overnight. Bring to a boil the next day with the water, broth, clove-studded onions, bay leaves, savory, thyme, marjoram, and rosemary. After about 40 minutes, add the diced potatoes and vegetables. Cook for another 20 minutes. Season with crushed garlic and salt. Ladle the stew into bowls, pour the cream into the center, and sprinkle with parsley and a little pepper.
