Spaghetti à la tarte flambée

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250g spaghetti
  • 250 g cream cheese
  • 200 g bacon, cut into strips
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 50 ml cream
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. walnuts

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, finely chop the onions and garlic. Heat a little oil or butter in a pan. Fry the onions, garlic, and bacon. When the bacon is crispy, add the cream and bring to a boil briefly. Add the water and cream cheese. Stir over medium heat until the cream cheese has melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and add sugar and lemon to round off the flavor. If you like, you can also add finely chopped walnuts while frying; they also taste great. Drain the spaghetti and serve with the sauce.
