Spaghetti Carbonara

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (spaghetti)
  • 750 ml cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g Parmesan, or more
  • e.g. ham or bacon
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the spaghetti al dente. Pour the cream into a measuring jug, add the eggs and Parmesan, and whisk everything well. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Finely chop the ham or bacon and fry in a frying pan. Pour in the sauce from the measuring jug and cook until thickened. Then toss directly into the spaghetti in the pan and top with more fresh Parmesan, if desired.
