Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250g spaghetti
- 1 onion(s)
- 75 g ham cubes, reduced fat
- 200 ml broth, up to 250 ml
- 1 tbsp crème fraîche, 15% fat
- some flour to bind, optional
- salt and pepper
- some oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
without egg and cream
Dice the onion and fry in a little oil. After about 3 minutes, add the diced ham and fry for about 5 minutes, stirring. Meanwhile, bring the pasta water to a boil. Deglaze the onions and ham with about 200-250 ml of stock. Add the crème fraîche and a little flour, if desired, and bring to a boil. Simmer the sauce until the onions are tender. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, cook the pasta al dente and drain. I personally enjoyed this dish just as much as the original version, even though it is considerably reduced in ingredients. It contains about 388 kcal per serving.
