Spaghetti with leek sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • 100 g bacon, thinly sliced
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 50 g Parmesan, grated
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the spaghetti in salted water al dente according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a dry pan until crispy, then set aside. Trim and wash the leek and slice into thin rings. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Heat the butter in a pan and sauté the leek. Add the garlic and pour in the cream; bring the sauce to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Mix the hot, drained pasta with the sauce. Season with pepper, divide among 4 plates, and serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and the crumbled crispy bacon.
