Spaghetti with meatballs

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g bratwurst, coarse, uncooked
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 400 ml vegetable stock
  • 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • salt and pepper
  • 250 g pasta (spaghetti)
  • 200 g peas (frozen)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Form the sausage meat into small balls and fry in a large pan with oil until golden brown on all sides. Add the chopped tomatoes, broth, and ketchup, season with salt and pepper, and simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes until thickened. Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water, adding the peas. Drain everything and add it to the spaghetti sauce while still hot. Cook for another minute, stirring.
