Spaghetti with North Sea crabs (garnet)

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 ml sauce (tomato sauce)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ bunch basil
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp sambal oelek
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 400 g North Sea crabs, ready to cook
  • 500g spaghetti

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel and dice the onion, and sauté in olive oil. Add the tomato sauce and reduce the heat slightly. Chop the garlic and crush it with salt. Rinse the basil, shake dry, and chop. Rinse the North Sea crabs in cold water and drain. Stir the garlic, basil, and tomato paste into the tomato sauce. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and sambal oelek. Remove the tomato sauce from the heat and stir in the North Sea crabs. Cook the spaghetti until al dente, shake off excess oil, and divide it among four plates. Pour the crab sauce over the top.
