Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 250 g bacon, diced
  • olive oil
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 250 ml vegetable stock
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Basil, dried
  • Oregano, dried
  • 500g spaghetti
  • Parmesan, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Fry the bacon cubes in olive oil, add the sliced ​​onions, and sauté until translucent. Cut the bell pepper into thin strips, add them, and sauté with the lid on over medium heat until soft. Add the canned tomatoes, tomato paste, and vegetable stock. Season with salt, pepper, basil, and oregano. Let it simmer a little longer and serve with the cooked spaghetti and grated Parmesan cheese.
