Tomato sauce with Cabanossi

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 Cabanossi
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 pack of tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 pinch(s) of cayenne pepper
  • ½ cup cream
  • some tomato ketchup
  • salt and pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Halve the Cabanossi and cut into small pieces. Lightly fry in a little oil. Now add the onion and garlic and simmer until the onions are translucent. Add the tomatoes, ketchup, and cayenne pepper and simmer for about half an hour. Then add the cream and season with salt and pepper.
