Spaghetti with scampi

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400g spaghetti
  • 8 scampi, or more if desired
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 400 ml tomato sauce
  • 250 ml dry white wine
  • pepper, salt
  • 1 dash of cream
  • herbs, Italian
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Spaghetti alla Busera

Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Peel the garlic and dice it into small pieces. Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the scampi. Fry for 3 minutes on each side and season with salt and pepper. Add the garlic towards the end, as it burns quickly. Deglaze with the white wine and simmer for about 5 minutes. Pour the tomato sauce over the spaghetti and simmer for 8-10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs to taste, and finish with a dash of cream. Remove the hot scampi and toss the spaghetti with the tomato sauce. Transfer to a plate and serve with the scampi. Freshly grated Parmesan cheese goes well with the scampi.
