Spaghetti with shrimp, surimi and tomatoes in garlic oil

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g shrimp(s) (gamberetti)
  • 250 g surimi (pressed crab meat)
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 100 ml olive oil, good quality
  • 2 chili peppers, dried
  • 300g spaghetti
  • Sea salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Either buy the prawns already peeled and cleaned, or clean them accordingly. Cut the surimi into approximately 1 cm wide pieces. Blanch the tomatoes. Alternatively, you can, of course, use ready-made chopped tomatoes. Finely dice the garlic. Crush the dried chili with a knife. Bring the pasta water to a boil and cook the spaghetti al dente. At the same time, heat the olive oil and add the tomatoes and garlic. Just before the pasta is done, add the prawns and surimi. Season with chili, salt, and pepper to taste. This is one pasta dish that doesn’t go well with Parmesan.
