Spaghetti with Shrimp
The perfect spaghetti with shrimp recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 g Spaghetti
- Salt
- Pepper
- 3 Toes Garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 250 g Shrimp
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 200 ml Cream
- 50 ml White wine
- 1 branch Thyme
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Finely chopped parsley
- 2 Shallots
- Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the instructions on the packet.
- Drizzle the shrimp with lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Finely dice shallots and garlic cloves.
- Wash and finely chop the parsley
- Heat the oil in a pan, fry the shallots and garlic in it. Add the prawns and thyme leaves, fry for about 4 minutes, then remove the prawns. Pour in the white wine, stir in the cream, simmer for about 5 minutes and season with salt and pepper. Fold in with parsley and add sugar to taste.
- Add the prawns to the sauce and briefly heat up again. Mix the spaghetti with the sauce and serve
- Tip 6: If you like, you can roast pine nuts in a pan and pour over the spaghetti.
