Spaghetti with Shrimp

The perfect spaghetti with shrimp recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Spaghetti
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3 Toes Garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 250 g Shrimp
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 50 ml White wine
  • 1 branch Thyme
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Finely chopped parsley
  • 2 Shallots
  1. Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. Drizzle the shrimp with lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Finely dice shallots and garlic cloves.
  3. Wash and finely chop the parsley
  4. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the shallots and garlic in it. Add the prawns and thyme leaves, fry for about 4 minutes, then remove the prawns. Pour in the white wine, stir in the cream, simmer for about 5 minutes and season with salt and pepper. Fold in with parsley and add sugar to taste.
  5. Add the prawns to the sauce and briefly heat up again. Mix the spaghetti with the sauce and serve
  6. Tip 6: If you like, you can roast pine nuts in a pan and pour over the spaghetti.
