Spaghetti with spinach and cherry tomatoes in cream sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400g spaghetti
  • 1 handful of leaf spinach, frozen
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • 100 g feta cheese
  • 1 dash of cream
  • some broth
  • some salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Finely chop the garlic and sauté in oil. Add the thawed and drained spinach leaves and top up with stock. Reduce heat to low to medium until the liquid has almost evaporated. Add the quartered cherry tomatoes and season with salt, pepper, sugar, and a little nutmeg. Continue to simmer. When the liquid has almost evaporated, add cream to taste and remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the finely chopped feta cheese. When the spaghetti is cooked, fold the spinach mixture into the hot spaghetti and serve.
