Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500g spaghetti
- 1 can of tuna in oil, 185 g net weight
- 1 can mushrooms, 400 g net weight
- 1 onion(s), chopped
- 1 garlic clove(s), finely chopped, more may be needed
- 1 pack of tomatoes, pureed, 500 g each
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- salt and pepper
- ½ tsp oregano
- 60 g Parmesan
- 3 tbsp oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Sauté the onion in oil until translucent. Add the finely chopped garlic, passata, tomato paste, and seasoning. Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes. After about 15 minutes, add the tuna with the oil and the drained, sliced mushrooms. Season the sauce to taste. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in plenty of salted water according to the package instructions. Briefly rinse the spaghetti, drain well, and toss with the tuna and tomato sauce. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
