Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 slices of toast, crust removed and soaked in milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp white wine vinegar
  • 250 ml oil (sunflower oil)
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. herbs (basil, parsley, chives)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Important: All ingredients must be at room temperature! Place the soaked bread in a tall, narrow bowl with the egg yolk, garlic, and vinegar and blend with a hand blender. Once everything is nice and smooth, slowly add the oil in a thin stream, continuing to blend. Season with salt and pepper and add finely chopped herbs, if desired. Serve with pan canario or prawns—a delight!
