Sour cream dip

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • Honey, liquid
  • Mustard, medium hot
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • dill
  • Parsley
  • chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 10 minutes

Finely dice the onion and garlic. Finely chop the herbs; the amounts depend on your taste. I use a lot of dill. Pour the sour cream into a bowl and mix with the milk until smooth. Stir in the onions, garlic, and herbs. Season with mustard and honey (just a little of each!), as well as salt and pepper. The dip tastes best when it’s been allowed to sit overnight. It goes especially well with boiled potatoes and fish.
