Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 375 g flour
- 1 pack of yeast (dry yeast)
- 1 pinch(s) of salt + sugar
- 100 ml olive oil
- 175 ml wine, white, dry
- 1 egg(s)
- 2 onions
- 1 jar bell peppers, peeled
- 1 pack of tomatoes, pureed
- 2 tbsp pine nuts
- 1 small can of tuna in oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Mix together the flour, yeast, a pinch of salt and sugar, and the egg. Put the specified amount of oil and white wine into a microwave-safe container and heat gently for about 25 seconds. Add to the dough and let it rise in the preheated oven for about 1 hour. In the meantime, slice the onions and sauté until golden brown – then remove from the heat. Once the dough has risen, roll it out on a baking sheet and pierce it several times. Spread the tomato puree on top and season with salt and pepper and your favorite herbs. Sprinkle the tuna (no oil!), bell peppers, onions, and pine nuts on top and place it in the preheated oven! Bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes! It’s eaten cold in Spain.
