Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g spaetzle
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 tbsp margarine
- 250 g chanterelles (or 1 can)
- 200 ml cream
- 150 g cheese, grated
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 pinch(s) of pepper
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 1 tbsp chives, cut into rolls
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Cook the spaetzle in salted water. Peel and dice the onion, and fry in a pan with 1 tablespoon of margarine. Trim or drain the chanterelles, add them to the onions, and simmer. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Grease a casserole dish, add the spaetzle and mushrooms, and mix. Pour the cream over the dish, sprinkle with the cheese, and bake at 225°C for about 15 minutes. Sprinkle chives over the finished casserole. Serve with a fresh salad.
