Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 1 tsp, levelled sugar
- 200 ml water, lukewarm
- 150 g wholemeal spelt flour
- 150 g wheat flour
- 1 tsp, leveled salt
- 10 g baking powder
- 1 tbsp oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the water and let it rise for about 10 minutes. Mix the flour, salt, and baking powder in a mixing bowl. First add the oil, then the yeast mixture, and knead with a dough hook until a smooth dough forms. Divide the dough into eight equal portions, approximately 65 g each. Shape into rolls and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Let the dough pieces rise for at least 30 minutes. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200°C (fan). Brush the rolls with water and sprinkle with oatmeal. Then place in the oven for 20 minutes.
