Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g spelt
  • 500 ml water
  • n. B. Iceberg lettuce, sliced
  • ½ cucumber(s), sliced
  • 1 onion(s), sliced
  • 1 garlic clove(s), chopped
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 100 g sheep’s cheese
  • Mint, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cook the spelt in 500 ml of water until soft. Mix the lettuce, onion, and cucumber with the cooled spelt. Mix the other ingredients into a marinade and pour it over the salad. Cut the feta cheese into chunks and scatter it on top. Serve garnished with mint.
