Vegetarian pasta salad with sausage

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta
  • ½ jar salad cream (Miracle Whip Balance), approx. 250 g
  • 1 small can of peas and carrots, approx. 200 g
  • 150 g cheese
  • 150 g sausage substitute (vegetarian meat sausage)
  • 80 g gherkins
  • salt and pepper
  • garlic powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the pasta according to the instructions and let it cool. In a bowl, combine half a jar of mayonnaise with a generous pinch of salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Dice the vegetarian sausage, cheese, and gherkins and add to the mayonnaise. Drain the peas and carrots and add them as well. Then fold in the cooled pasta and mix everything well, seasoning to taste if desired. If you like, you can prepare the salad the evening before so it can chill overnight in the refrigerator, but this is not necessary.
