Spelt sunflower bread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g spelt flour type 1050
  • 180 g sunflower seeds, peeled and natural
  • 20 g yeast, fresh
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 400 ml water, lukewarm
  • some butter for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Combine flour and salt in a bowl. Pour the lukewarm water into a measuring jug and dissolve the yeast in it, then add the vinegar. Mix everything together with a dough hook for about 4 minutes. Then stir in the sunflower seeds with a wooden spoon. Pour the dough into a buttered bread pan. Bake in an unheated oven at 220°C (convection oven) for 60 minutes. Cover with parchment paper after 30 minutes to prevent it from overcooking and to keep it moist.
