Spelt wholegrain bulgur with carrot and onion

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 cup bulgur (approx. 150 ml cup content)
  • 2 cups water
  • herbal salt
  • 1 large carrot(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Pour hot water over the bulgur and simmer for 2 minutes. Then let it swell for 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile, finely grate the carrot and peel and finely chop the onion. Roast the vegetables in oil. Finally, combine everything and season to taste.
