Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 250 g rice (long grain rice)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 250 g tomatoes, peeled
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

First, wash the rice under running water until the water runs clear. Dice the onion and bell pepper. Finely chop the peeled tomatoes. Then fry the diced onion until golden brown and add the bell pepper and tomatoes. Now press in the garlic. Add the rice and beans and pour in the water. Season with salt and black pepper and simmer over low heat for 25 minutes, until the rice is tender. This dish goes well with meat or eggs.
