Ingredients
- 125 g Butter
- 75 g Sugar
- 60 g Maple syrup
- 100 g Walnuts
- 250 g Flour
- 0,25 tsp Ground cloves
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 0,25 tsp Ground ginger
- 1 pinch Painted allspice
- 100 g Whole milk couverture
Instructions
- Bring the butter, syrup and sugar to the boil. Let the mixture cool down.
- Chop the walnuts, add to the mixture and stir in.
- Mix the flour with the spices, sieve on the cooled syrup mass and knead well.
- Shape the dough into a roll (approx. 2 - 3 cm in diameter), wrap in cellophane and place in the refrigerator overnight.
- Cut thin slices from the roll and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the oven preheated to 200 ° C for about 8-10 minutes.
- Let the biscuits cool down and dip half of them in couverture. The pictures are without chocolate.
