Ingredients
 

  • 125 g Butter
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 60 g Maple syrup
  • 100 g Walnuts
  • 250 g Flour
  • 0,25 tsp Ground cloves
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 0,25 tsp Ground ginger
  • 1 pinch Painted allspice
  • 100 g Whole milk couverture

Instructions
 

  • Bring the butter, syrup and sugar to the boil. Let the mixture cool down.
  • Chop the walnuts, add to the mixture and stir in.
  • Mix the flour with the spices, sieve on the cooled syrup mass and knead well.
  • Shape the dough into a roll (approx. 2 - 3 cm in diameter), wrap in cellophane and place in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Cut thin slices from the roll and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the oven preheated to 200 ° C for about 8-10 minutes.
  • Let the biscuits cool down and dip half of them in couverture. The pictures are without chocolate.
