Spice Cake Runkel Cookies Dough:

  • 1 tbsp Sunflower seeds
  • 1 tbsp Simple jam
  • 1 tbsp Cocoa powder slightly de-oiled
  • 1 Msp Salt
  • 0,1 l Coffee (drink) cold
  • 2 piece Free range eggs
  • 50 g Butter

Release agent for kneading and rolling:

  • 10 g Flour
  • 2 El Oil

Knead dough:

  1. Finely sift the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt and bicarbonate in a bowl, form a well and add the two fresh eggs, add the clarified butter with the honey, and mix the remaining dough ingredients with the cold coffee. Form a firm, dark, sticky ball of dough with a little oil in the bowl and roll, let everything rest 3x for 5 minutes, cut into pieces and then knead. Of course, you can also let the dough soak for longer.

Roll out the dough and portion:

  1. Roll out the dough on a suitable oiled surface and cut the dough pieces into strips. You can now twist each piece of dough a few times so that the bar shape or cone shape results.

Baking time:

  1. 10 – 15 minutes at 180 ° C, may vary slightly depending on the thickness of the dough. Sprinkle with powdered sugar after baking.
