Spice Mix for Crust Roasts

The perfect spice mix for crust roasts recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 tsp Onion
  • 3 tsp Garlic
  • 2 tsp Ground allspice
  • 1 tsp Marjoram
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp Colorful peppercorns
  • 1 tsp Juniper berries
  • 1 tsp Bay leaves
  • 1 tsp Salt

Spice mix for crust roast:

  1. Put the ground and the coarse ingredients together in a sealable spice jar and, if necessary, rub the roast with it and season the sauce with it if necessary. Use sparingly when using.

Use:

  1. For light roast meat, preferably crust roasts, larded roasts or rolled roasts. Allow the spices to dry thoroughly for further storage in the jar (air drying or in the oven).
