Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg broccoli, fresh
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • cream
  • 1 processed cheese corner
  • Salt
  • Cheese
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Country woman’s recipe

Trim and wash the broccoli and cook it in salted water for about 7-10 minutes. Then drain and reserve the vegetable water. Make a roux with the butter, flour, and a little cream. Stir in the cream cheese and season with salt and nutmeg. Pour the sauce over the broccoli and sprinkle with cheese. Then briefly bake the whole thing.
