Spicy Brussels Sprouts Pan – Use Leftovers

The perfect spicy brussels sprouts pan – use leftovers recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Brussels sprouts fresh
  • 2 medium-sized Potato freshly peeled
  • 1 large Chopped onion
  • 1 piece Chili pepper finely chopped
  • 1 large Fresh tomato
  • 3 piece Parma ham slices
  • 3 disc Spicy cheese to gratinate
  • 2 pinch Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Herbs of Provence
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 100 Milliliters Meat broth own production
  • Herbal salt to taste
  • Cayenne pepper own production to taste
  1. Heat the butter in a pan. Sweat the onion and red chilli in it. Add the cleaned Brussels sprouts and sliced potatoes and fry everything together. Season with a little nutmeg and herbal salt. Meat broth, I use homemade, pour on and let the Brussels sprouts with potatoes stew for about 15-20 minutes with the lid closed on the lowest level. Then the meat stock is absorbed.
  2. Now put tomato slices on the Brussels sprouts. Sprinkle with some Provence herbs and herbal salt. Place the ham and cheese on top. Let it steep until the cheese has melted. Serve sprinkled with cayenne. Unfortunately I forgot to take the photo in the pan with cheese on top. Good Appetite.
